On the windy night of October 8, 2017, Beau Decker and Yoosha Carson awakened and were hurried out of their beds as a rabid forest fire swept through their neighborhood. Both boys lost their homes that evening, along with many others in Redwood Valley, California. A year after, Beau (5) and Yoosha (11) sat down to tell their fire tales.
